very cool

Yep- I got to meet Ali Edwards. So very cool. She's so laid back, so talented, so real. Yet i was SOOOOOOOOOOO nervous to meet her. and then i got to take a picture with her. and i look HORRIBLE. i'm so sad. my hair just needs to be flipped a bit, and i just needed to have already lost that (ahem*20pounds*ahem) baby weight. but ali looks cute! seriously, so much fun. i'm bummed that my friend Muriel and I just missed each other, but it was cool. There was food and wine (and you know i love my wine!). I came an hour late- had to get Jessica (oh, and check out her new four month picutre. shameless plus) to sleep before i could leave her with the babysitter (Steve was at his softball game, so I had one of my assistants watch her). I got there at Q&A time. She has such an interesting story of how she got into scrapbooking. and such an awesome outlook on life. she would defiently be a cool chick to hang out with! then there was "desert" time and there was a raffle ( i won some cool dream stickers from rusty pickle- perfect for my dream journal i want to start!) and then i got to get my picture taken with her. she signed her design book (the second one) and a make and take we put together. and there was a chocolate fountain. got to love that. but never gonna lose the baby weight if i keep eating them. luckily (or unluckily, however you want to look at it) i don't get a chance to eat with them that often. anyways, off topic. so it was so awesome to see ali talk, check out her scrapbooks (AMAZING) in person, get out of the house!!!!!, actually MEET ali (even though i was so nervous!), and get back into the scrapping world. not that i've scrapped anything yet- but i plan to!

anyways, just wanting to let everyone know about my very cool experience meeting the fabulous Ali Edwards. And i am sharing the picture of Ali and me, even though i look horrible. only because its with Ali. and its the only proof i have ;)
