Days 6 & 7- words only

I did do them! I was just traveling and at a wedding, so I didn't have much computer time. Didnt' want to bother setting up the internet either.

Friday 10/3/07

up at 5:30 to pee

never went back to sleep

steve's alarm went off to an oasis song. most random radio station ever

i got up at 6:15- shower, clothes laid out already. didn't need to straiten my hair. score.

b arrived at 6:45. did some laundry, dishes, the usually mornign routine. Have to finish the load in the dryer before we go.

another croissant for bfast. and an english muffin w/ cream cheese. and some yogourt w/raspberries and honey

jessica up a little after 7- so excited to fly on an airplane and see nana and papa!!!!!!

super duper mellow friday- felt like i had nothing to do except leave and it wasn't time yet

finally leave at 8:30. nervous about jessica having an accident cause she hasn't gone #2 yet.

so much drama and chaos at the airport. delayed. wait listed. on time. delayed. wait listed. and then we left on time. grrrrrrrr

plane ride was fun- jessica did good, even used the airplane potty!!!!

landed in SFO a little after 1. waited by the luggage claim for nana and papa to meet us, who were flying in from iowa

took the shuttle to pick up a rent a car. just hopped into a car and drove off. super simple!

jessica took a nap on the ride to the rehersal dinner :)

we arrived pretty much right on time! and jessica still was accident free all day- woot!!!!

they did their rehersal thing. jessica explored the winery. beautiful!

i hadn't eaten enough today, so i'm on my last leg. i about faint. good times

rehersal dinner at 5:30. steve got me food asap

did the rehersal dinner thing. jessica decides to poop in her pants right after she gets off the potty. at least it wasn't on the airplane!!!!

i don't feel 100% at the dinner. cute toasts by all, loved the grandpa of the brides toast. enjoyed looking at the pictures. saw one of steve and groom matt when they were in 6th grade!

go check into hotel. steve is in charge of the rings. matt hands over alexa's ring wrapped in paper towel. i put it on my pinky finger so it doesn't get lost.

jessica plops down in front of the tv in the lobby. watches a little law and order. i don't think its appropriate, but whatever, its a good show ;)

jessica takes a bath in our room, and then goes rigth to sleep- she's tired!!!!!

i read in bed, lights out by 10:30

saturday 10/4/08

wake up at 7:30. tell steve its time to get up.

steve leaves to meet the groom at 8

jessica wakes up a little bit later. we decide to go say goodmorning to nana and papa.

we watch cartoons and papa gets us breakfast. sausages, eggs, crossiant, yogurt, milk, bagel and cream cheese.

jessica is in a mood. has a ridiclous tantrum. screaming at the top of her lungs

i dont' feel good. at all

i take a little cat nap while jessica and papa are walking around the hotel. nana takes a shower

i take a shower at 11 and rest a bit more. still not feelign very good. i need to eat more but only pizza sounds good

at 12 steve and i take off for pizza. i'm ridiclous hormonal mess. drama ensues. we end up getting bagel bites at a smart and final.

i eat bagel bites. 18 of them. i think a serving is like 4. but its ok, cause we got a box of 40. i stick them in the fridge, only to find that the fridge is no longer working. stupid mini fridge.

as i eat the bagels i am doing my hair and makeup, and reading Creating Keepsakes november issue.

Finally feelign better

meet sam and courtney at 2, we leave at 2:15, and are almost at our destination when we're told we need to go strait to the wedding site.

we arrive 15 minutes before anyone else, and we putter around trying to be helpful. i realize my feet are going to kill me, so i take off my shoes.

the bride and her posse arrive. courtney and i decide that the day of coordinator FAILS. we set up the centerpieces/favors/seating assignment table. put my shoes back on. then we go wait for the fun to begin. i wait for my parents to arrive with jessica

See lots of friends- everyone saw jessica at the hotel and love her pink party skirt

parents and jessica arrive at 5. so excited to see her!

wedding begins at 5:15. beautiful ceremony. short and sweet and heartfelt and i get all teary eyed.

cocktail hour i spend chasing jessica around, wishing i could have a glass of wine but oh well. and i took off my shoes again. my shoes are fabulous, but freakin kill me!!!

oh, and i'm freezing

we move to the reception hall. feed jessica some grapes and bread. sit down for the grand entrance, listen to a few toasts. jessica leaves during the mother of the grooms toast. my parents say she feel asleep right away. travelign makes her tired!

i get to kick back and enjoy the wedding ;)

steve does an awesome job on his best man toast.

i do lots of dancing, and wonder if all the dancing is ok for baby.

the end of the night i'm pretty much the only sober one there, along with the bride and groom

they take off in a ferrarri

i join the drunkards on the party bus back to the hotel. i'm surprised that i'm not more annoyed with everyone, and very impressed that i had so much fun (i thought i was going to be exhausted and not feel good)

we get home. jessica is sleeping, my parents are watching SNL. we get ready for bed, watch a little more SNL and then turn off the light around 12:45pm.

YAY! and that was my week!!!!! totally not a normal week, but a fun project. i'll have to do it again some day when i have a normal not traveling week. i'm going to add picutres later. and i'll try to re-add the pictures that didn't work in the last post.
