i made the best porkchops ever

so yea, i haven't been posting much recently cause i have nothing exciting to say. just that i made some REALLY good porkchops today (seriously, not to toot my own horn, but i've never had any that were so good!). so yeah, that kinda says it all. all i've been doing is cleaning and more cleaning. all weekend. all work, no play. we didn't even go out to dinner. even the TV we watched was "educational" so not really fun (yes, i know, learning CAN be fun too. but sometimes i just don't want to use my brain......) on saturday night, steve fell asleep on the couch at 7:30, we were both in bed at 9. I read till 1 in the morning, but still- bed at nine?! wtf, we're totally boring old married couple. just a few years ago in IV days, if someone was asleep on the couch at 7:30 on a saturday night, they had either been partying all day and were past out, or they were taking a quick nap before the night began! staying in on a saturday or friday night meant that the party was at my house. all i DID was play on the weekends. no real worries. just good times. so thats me remembering the good ole days of Isla Vista. They were fun, but i would NEVER go back : )

oh, and i remember something exciting to post- i just found out that they're opening a nordstroms rack right down the street from me! yea!!!!!!!!! (for those of you who know the area, it'll be right on las posas, next to the 78- where they are also making a on ramp.)
