all mom's love jack johnson
ok, first off, i am aware that i've been a horrible blogger. at least on this blog. life has been crazy, but there really isn't all that much i can show for it. so i'm sorry. i'll try to be better.
but here are a few things i've been up to
SOPRANOS
Steve and I finished season one, and are now on to season 2. thanks to odette for the heads up when costco was having all the seasons HALF OFF. so steve got a fabulous bday present of the first 3 seasons of Sopranons :) This is our favorite show. pretty much the ONLY show that the two of us watch together and both like. we started watching during season 4. i had never seen any of the first three seasons, and steve's seen only a few episodes. so its been very fun. i'm gonna try to get all the seasons in before season six resumes (is that they way you say that?) early next year.
SCRAPPING
Last weekend (as in a week ago) i totally got my scrap on. totally had the mojo flowing. so i left all my stuff on the dining room table, hoping to get more done this weekend. did i? nope. not so much. but its still on the table. maybe next weekend???? (and i have yet to post any of my layouts. i suck). i realized that i can get much more creative w/my 8x11 lo's. my 12 x 12 i kinda stick to a simplier style. wonder why that is? hmmm
GETTING HUGE
still preggers and getting HUGE. about to post my six month pics on my baby blog. makes me tired, gives me heartburn, and it sucks when the Santa Ana's hit and i get HORRIBLE allergies and there really isn't much i can do.................. but i am SO excited =)
CHONG
tommy chong, of cheech and chong. saw him at a comedy club last weekend- my first show ever. all i've got to say is that dude has smoked WAY too much pot. but it was good times
JACK JOHNSON
so this middle schooler at steve's school announced that "all mom's love jack johnson" when, for whatever reason, jack came up in conversation. what? i had no idea that this was the category that jack fell in. i mean, i guess i'm technecally a "mom" now, so its ok- but i just thought jack was more of a college students kinda music, or a surfer dudes kinda music. but a "mom's" music? hmmmmm. but maybe thats because thats who i listened to in college? and my mom doesn't listen to him. wow. probably making a much bigger deal out of this. and i still love jackster. i guess it just made me realize that i'm not young and hip any more. not to the "future" generations anyway. dang.
um, yeah, and thats about it. my life ain't all that exciting right now. i'll do a scrapping post soon. i promise! i'll get better

:) I played JJ for my students today!!
I still can't get through season 1 of soprano's. I also bought the first 3 seasons due to Odette. I have been so busy. And I just bought the first season of Rescue Me. I have a lot of TV watching in my future.
I forget that you have your baby blog...I did check it out this weekend.

I'm an 8 1/2 X 11 girl...I totally understand your issues with 12X12. I have gotten to where I hate making 12X12 pages and only do it when I have to and just like you...they end up being simple and graphic. Guess that is how my little brain works! Now hurry and post your scrapage!
